What is the Microneedling with PRP Facelift® Treatment Like?
The Microneedling with PRP Facelift® treatment begins with drawing a sample of blood. This blood will then be placed into a centrifuge to develop platelet-rich plasma, or PRP. During this process, we will numb the skin to prepare it for injections. Treatment will begin with dermal filler injections, which are typically well-tolerated thanks to the topical numbing solution. Once completed, PRP injections will be performed to deliver the healing benefits of PRP beneath the dermal filler solution.
The number and location of injections may vary depending on your treatment goals. The Microneedling with PRP Facelift® treatment typically takes less than one hour to perform.
Is There Any Downtime After a Microneedling with PRP Facelift®?
There is no downtime or recovery period required after the Microneedling with PRP Facelift®. Patients can come in, receive a Microneedling with PRP Facelift®, and return to their normal activities the same day. However, it’s important to note that you may experience redness, swelling, or tenderness in the treatment area due to the injections. These effects typically fade within a few days of treatment.
