Lisa Prentiss, a physician assistant, has deep roots in Maine, where she grew up and began her healthcare career. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New England (then known as Westbrook College) and completed her graduate studies at Duke University’s renowned Physician Assistant program. Lisa’s passion for medicine was sparked early due to a challenging family medical episode. After graduating, she worked 16 years in cardiology at Maine Medical Center and later transitioned to adult inpatient medicine. In 2020, she joined the Cosmetic Enhancement Center, training extensively in lasers, skincare, and tissue tightening procedures. Lisa now specializes in advanced laser treatments and microneedling technologies, helping patients boost their self-confidence. Additionally, she leads the center’s weight and wellness initiative, leveraging her 30 years of internal medicine expertise to provide personalized, concierge-level services focused on patient safety and optimal outcomes. With a comprehensive approach to wellness, Lisa works closely with patients to help them achieve measurable health improvements.
