Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England is proud to offer CoolSculpting® Elite. Experience this revolutionary non-invasive fat reduction treatment in Portland, Waterville, and Falmouth, ME.
CoolSculpting Elite is the leading non-surgical fat reduction treatment available today. This revolutionary treatment comfortably and effectively removes stubborn body fat without surgery or downtime. The Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England was the first practice in Maine to introduce CoolSculpting and has been performing the procedure since 2010. Our practice now offers the next level of Coolsculpting non-surgical fat reduction, the CoolSculpting Elite!
Maria Atkins, DO, and the rest of our dedicated medical team are committed to providing patients with the highest standard of care. The procedure is entirely non-invasive and requires no anesthesia. It uses only the gentle power of controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate fat for good.
How Much Does CoolSculpting Elite Cost?
Your CoolSculpting Elite cost at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England will depend on a number of factors. During your free consultation, we will discuss your treatment goals to determine the approach to your CoolSculpting Elite treatment that will work best for you.
Some patients may need multiple treatment sessions. We will consider these and other factors in order to provide you with the full cost of your treatment during your consultation. To make this and other services more affordable, we are proud to offer financing through CareCredit®.
Fat cells have a significantly higher freezing temperature than other body tissues. When the CoolSculpting Elite applicator is applied to a treatment area, it cools fat cells down to a freezing point, while leaving the surrounding cells and tissues unharmed. These frozen fat cells die and are slowly eliminated from the body over time, gradually leaving the patient with a more sculpted physique.
This destruction of fat cells is the reason why CoolSculpting Elite is effective and long-lasting. During a person’s teenage years, the number of total fat cells in the body becomes fixed through the rest of their life. As your weight fluctuates, these fat cells become larger and smaller in size but do not decrease in overall number. With CoolSculpting Elite, 20-25 percent of the subcutaneous fat in the targeted area is removed.
What Parts of the Body Can CoolSculpting Elite Be Used On?
The CoolSculpting Elite procedure can be used to eliminate fat on nearly any area of the body. Some of the most popular areas include CoolSculpting arm treatments and CoolSculpting chin treatments. CoolSculpting Elite can be used on the following areas:
- Chin
- Abdomen
- Sides
- Back
- Thighs
- Arms
- Bra Fat
- and more!
What Can I Expect From a CoolSculpting Elite Treatment?
The length of each CoolSculpting Elite procedure depends on the size of the area or areas being treated. Here at Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England, we offer DualSculpting, which allows you to contour two areas of the body at the same time. This will cut down on the amount of time your sessions will take. There is no downtime with CoolSculpting Elite, so patients can go right back to their daily routines as soon as they leave Dr. Atkins’ office. Typically, changes are visible 8 to 12 weeks after treatment.
It’s important to keep in mind that while CoolSculpting Elite can drastically reduce fat in a treated area, it is not a weight loss solution or an alternative to diet and exercise. If you would like to see CoolSculpting Elite before and after pictures, please visit our before and after page.
