AviClear™ is a laser treatment that specifically targets the source of the oily substance, sebum, on your skin. After the treatment, you will produce less oil and your acne will improve. The treatment is comfortable, free of harmful side effects and iis quick – each treatment takes around 30 minutes from start to finish. This treatment is safe for all skin types and skin tones.
How many AviClear™ treatments will I need?
This highly effective acne treatment requires a series of three sessions spaced approximately one month apart, with many patients seeing results as early as one month after the final treatment session.
In clinical studies, 91% of patients responded to treatment and 80% saw at least half of their acne clear. Plus, patients may continue to see results improve with time — even several months after the treatment sessions are finished.
Many patients see results as early as one month after the final treatment session, and some continue to improve beyond that. There was no prolonged downtime in the clinical trials. However, as with any laser treatment, there will be some post-treatment care. You will have to protect your skin from direct sunlight, and use gentle cleansers and moisturizers on your skin. Does AviClear hurt? Is there any downtime?
Some patients experience mild to moderate discomfort, which is normal, tolerable and brief. During your consultation, our providers will walk you through the process and give you more detail. After the treatment, your skin may appear red but the redness will subside within a few hours.
